Con was more fun than might be expected, considering I attended no panels nor anime screenings and sold practically no prints. =P Though did sell two framed posters for $50 each. Will definitely have to get own (or shared with few close friends) table next year time. But now for the more interesting part: ( da pics! )

Work hath resumed on teh costume. Of course there's still a lot of time till Fanime, but I might as well get as much done as I can, early as possible. The first priority is to finish embroidering the pants. The second priority is to make the shoe-thingies and the finger bandages. What the hell is going on with Sheik's footwear anyway?

There's also the matter of art sales. Easiest thing to do would be to just put up a few things in the art show/auction thingie, but word seems to be that last year it wasn't organized very well, to say the least. But if I get a table in the Artist Row, am I going to have to stay there the whole time? Maybe will be able to share, and thus switch off, with other Anime Club people. Dunno. But will probably need to apply for a table ASAP...

Woohoo, I got my new glasses. My vision hadn't degraded that much, but it's suddenly a lot easier to see things regardless 'cause things aren't juuuust out of focus.

Signed up for Fanime with Anime Club, and I'll be paying the group discount rate next week. =) Finding out that dreadite will be going cemented my decision, though - I don't know most people at club well enough to be comfortable con-hopping with them for three (four?) days, so it's great to be able to hang out with friends. simhuman, you'll be attending right? 'Cause we have to get pictures taken together =D

I wonder if I can set up an art table this time - maybe share one with club people? I better get my butt into gear if I want to get prints made...

Edit: Not prints of my butt, that is. You know what I mean.

Aw bugger, next year's Fanime won't be during summer vacation... Looks like it's time to start aiming for Anime Expo.

(Maybe there won't be other Sheik cosplayers at AX. ^^;;)

Ah, Fanime tomorrow... hurriedly putting together cosplaying tidbits, gathering stuff to bring, and correlating schedules. For some reason I just don't care as much this year... I guess skipping a year kinda distanced me from the con excitement. Or maybe it's because I'm not as enthusiastic about my costume this time. Just wait till next year... =)
